Exactly. I've publicly face-to-face buttheaded with the CEO of a very large tech company (that you have 100% heard of) at a very large townhall meeting. I did it because it's an internal event so my chance of getting fired is significantly lower (but still not zero!) But doing it in public, sharing internal data, and with the tone the guy used on a brand new owner? I don't know what he expected. Getting fired is the expected outcome.
