I've seen a trend in the service industry that has so far worked where poor service is excusable now because fast food workers are apparently mistreated and have no choice but to work their job and crappy service is expected. Before you'd pay for your food and go, but now companies that have no interaction with the customer are now requesting tips not as a bonus to good service but as an expectation that if you don't tip you may expect to be mistreated. Same with the restaurant industry that up until recently would justify anything from spitting in people's food if they didn't tip them in a manner that made them feel appreciated to bragging about stealing money thinking this was normal behavior. Dropping and blocking rude customers is one thing, but failing to recognize and address the internal issues while blaming customers is something completely different. There is no doubt people that deserve to be blocked but I'm skeptical things like this will just be used to shift blame to customers when it was the driver or industry that caused the mistake or acted inappropriately.
