- andsoitis 4y agoHaving read the email in the press, as an employee I would find it less as an ultimatum and more of an explicit adjusting of expectation for my employment. Explicit expectation setting far outweighs unclear, implicit, and unknown expectations.
- kevinh 4y agoSince it requires a binary choice (fill out the form or be laid off) that terminates employment if one choice is taken, it is by definition an ultimatum.
- raxxorraxor 4y agoAt least this way you can see it coming. Usually employees are the last to find out if they get fired.
