I don't normally rise to your mocking/trolling/whatever, jrockway. I am glad you are content with your life and transport choices. In the past, I have never had problems renting cars. I rented one in Mexico the month previous, no problem. But now there is another requirement for car rental in the US, which is hard to acquire. It was massively inconvenient to find this out in the middle of a trip to Miami, which has virtually no public transportation or taxis, and spread out over nearly 80km.
