I don’t have any advice to help you fix the problem but I just wanted to reach out and say: everything is okay, you’re a good person, your company is great, and no matter what happens today or tomorrow you can get through it and live to fight another day.

In a way, surviving this experience can help OP grow as a person. I choose to think it serves as a reminder that the things in life that matter are not digital statuses within blind computer systems, but relationships with the people you can see and care for.
