Consumer Reports finds hybrid cars are more reliable than gas-only models
- karmakaze 4y agoI was at a car rental and they had a lot of hybrrid SUVs they couldn't rent out aWaiting repairs. They said they wouldn't be getting more. Maybe they aren't less reliable but repairs were more complex and costly.
- Tagbert 4y agoWhich brand/model? There were some older SUVs that had a mild hybrid system that was basically using the starter motor to get the car rolling. It only resulted in a very small increase in gas mileage on a vehicle that burned a lot of gasoline. Those were no more reliable than the ICEV versions.
