Russian Missiles Land In Poland, Killing Two
- asim 4y agoIt's not totally confirmed yet. Russian officials are denying it's an attack by them. It could have been shot down and fallen into Polish territory. Let's not assume the worst just yet.

- treeman79 4y agoMost likely. But they are shooting missiles near Poland. If ignored it could lead to this becoming normal. Testing boundaries. If not ignored it could be serious consequences up to and including WW3. While probably not. It’s scary when you have line in the sand and people and tap dancing next to it with finger on nuke buttons.

- tomalaci 4y agoWhile it may be a mistake due to Russia having severe lack of precision munitions and may have misfired it, it did kill two polish citizens. There is also slim chance it could of been unlucky interception by Ukrainian anti-air defense systems but either way - NATO citizens got killed and it will require a serious response from NATO, part of their very being is centered around Article 5 (attack on one is an attack on all).
- AnimalMuppet 4y agoAn accident/misfire/unlucky interception is not an attack, though. I'm not sure it's enough to invoke Article 5.
- rurban 4y agoSo who is the biggest warmonger now? Ukraine and the 3 Baltic states. Interesting. The ones who will lose the most in a WW3. Thankfully Poland stays cool
- anshumankmr 4y agoUmm… so now what? This felt somewhat inevitable as some months ago a missile landed a few miles away from the Polish border. This is going to test NATO’s resolve and though I don’t know where this situation is really going at the moment.
