I think you mean EUV in your second line. Deep UV is an older and more common technology than Extreme UV. Buffett's average holding period for large holdings appears to be something like 7.5 years [0], and China won't be able to invade Taiwan in that timeframe because it will take time to build up their domestic semiconductor supply chain. It's hard to deny that TSM is trading at a cheap P/E these days. The stock has basically been cut in half this year.
