- erellsworth 4y agoYeah, it can be hard to identify. Anxiety can take on a life of its own. One of the first things my therapist introduced me to was called the ARC model of emotion, which stands for Antecedent (whatever is happening just before you experience an emotion), Response (how you feel and what you do) and Consequence (the results of your response). Basically, by taking note of what is happening when you are anxious, you can start to identify what is triggering the anxiety.
