NASA’s sulfur-selenium battery exceeds 500Wh/kg
- taxicabjesus 4y agoI always got the sense that it's a mistake to switch to lithium-powered vehicles, for anything more than a "proof-of-concept" number of early adopters. The tragedy of our era is designing communities for cars instead of people.
- aappleby 4y agoHow rare is selenium?
- TheLoafOfBread 4y agoHow many cycles does it have? Is it like Sodium battery which is cheaper than Lithium battery, but has only 10-100 cycles and then you can throw it away, where Lithium has 1000 cycles? The article does not mention this, so I assume that it is not great.
