What a smart way to slowly destroy your own business.
- joenathanone 4y agoIt's super short sighted they will make a few bucks at the expense of lost customers and their reputation.
- hn_throwaway_99 4y agoWhatever is keeping PayPal in business, it's definitely not their reputation.
- jfim 4y agoThought the same thing. I got the notification and deleted my account. It's pretty funny too, since someone asked me to Paypal them some money shortly after. As I didn't have an account anymore, we used Zelle instead. I guess some middle manager gets to make some slides about how they made x amount of money out of inactivity fees, while ignoring all of the business the company lost.

- ec109685 4y agoHey, that row in their database that represents your account info isn’t paying for itself!
- MerelyMortal 4y agoIt costs them lots of cents to store those bits of data, it's only fair!
