It was a good read but there were some inaccuracies there as well. Saying weight doesn't matter much is naive. Yes, aerodynamics matter a lot but so does friction of the wheels onto the asphalt. The heavier the car, the more friction (resistance) and thus more power needed to move forward (less range).
