What are they using now, if you don't mind me asking?
- dehrmann 4y agoProbably nothing.
- pkulak 4y agoHome Assistant almost goes without saying at this point.
- maccard 4y agoDoes it? I walk in tech circles, and actively work for a startup, and I don't think a single person in my circle of friends/coworkers has a Home Assistant setup, and _most_ have either an Alexa or a Google Assistant of some form.
- pkulak 4y agoSure, but you didn't tell me that "no one in my technical circle has proprietary "smart" home automation devices". ;)
- hdjjhhvvhga 4y agoHome Assistant for home automation, Mycroft for voice control.
- losteric 4y agoAs others said - nothing (my preference), Mycroft, or Apple's Home Assistant (yes, propietary)
- jnsie 4y agoThanks. I do however think that people are referring to home-assistant.io, not Apple Home Assistant.
