It's interesting the differing attitudes people have to electric versus gas engine yard equipment. To me gas engines bring up memories of my dad, grandpa, and uncle troubleshooting mowers that won't start, making a mess while trying to mix gas and oil for two-stroke engines, and taking stuff apart to clean it. So to me electric means just getting the job done reliably without wasting a bunch of time getting dirty before I can even start the actual work. But to other people electric means weak and slow with poor runtime, while gas means the power to get a job done quickly.
Fun fact: they still sell new battery operated mowers that use lead-acid batteries, which obviously won't last more than one mowing season. I feel bad for people who get scammed like this, because who would know that they need to check their new mower isn't using a half-sized car battery?
