I’ve followed Kris Harbor on YT for a long while. He’s got a hacker’s mentality and a work ethic that puts most (including myself) to shame. He has recently started spec’ing and building custom, small-scale hydropower systems for clients. The only person that comes close is Kevin Crawford [0], who built his own dam and waterwheel, multiple wind turbines, and has had solar installations for decades. He’s a retiree, and is not the greatest videographer or editor, but shows off an engineering ingenuity that is rare.
