I grew up near a few of these. Well, they were far apart from each other, but along the same highway. When I was a child, I was pretty amazed at how narrow yet tall they are. I just looked them up on Google Maps, and they're still there. Fewer dishes on the main one (I only call it main because it's where a minor and a major highway join, and it has a mini-me tower beside it, where the other ones don't), and still appearing quite active.
