I often go to the Korean restaurants in the DC, Northern Virginia, and Southern Maryland areas - I seem to be one of the rare customers who actually orders it. To me, Makgeolli is delightful. Refreshing, smooth, and not too sweet. I prefer to have it in a regular glass instead of the traditional bowl-cups. Adding in some extra Soju, like one might do with a beer-soju bomb, makes it even better.
