If this doesn’t describe what you’re doing, then it’s not agile, and it makes no sense to blame agile for what is just a busted process that someone has told you is “agile” without actually understanding what the term was intended to mean. I’ve worked in large companies where none of this is true, but they called it agile. It’s not.
