Are you aware that a lot of innovations (the internet included) took off and became mainstream because of porn? The issue here is the American puritan mindset being forced on the world due to the duopoly of Visa and Mastercard. Similar issues stem from American social media. Here in Europe I see ads in the subway from museums that would violate e.g. the nudity rules on Instagram.
