- maxbond 4y agoI paid an embarrassing amount of money (as I purchased it on the secondary market), but not even 1% of $185k. .bond was originally created for Bond University who presumably did pay something like that; they sold the TLD to ShortDot, and now it's marketed to people selling bonds.
