Deploy Grails Applications on Heroku
- bootz15 15y agoGreat news for a great framework and a great PaaS.
- mgkimsal 15y agoSounds great. I may run a couple tests in January, assuming there will be a couple of small updates to Grails 2.0 in the coming weeks. BTW, Grails 2.0 was just released today as well :) http://blog.springsource.org/2011/12/15/grails-2-0-released/ http://blog.springsource.org/2011/12/15/grails-2-0-released/
- danielharan 15y agoThe biggest surprise is finding out people still use that POS framework. Wow.
- cedrichurst 15y agoThat's not really a productive criticism. Are there any specific issues you've had with Grails? Have you looked at it lately? It actually has a fairly thriving developer community. Admittedly, the community is mostly Spring/Java stack exiles, but its starting to attract quite a bit of new developers and PHP/Rails converts as well.
- prpatel 15y agoPOS? You must be joking. Not looking to start a framework/platform war, but Grails is on par with or better than: Ruby on Rails, Django, <insert your favourite web platform here>
- danielharan 15y agoBetter by what criterion?
- ravinder 15y agoAssuming you have used Grails before, this should get you started on where it stands today http://grails.org/doc/2.0.x/guide/introduction.html#whatsNew http://grails.org/doc/2.0.x/guide/introduction.html#whatsNew
