Isn't this just a very small % of their holdings? The fund is >$100B right? This would be a drop in the bucket. They have taken much larger BILLION dollar losses on other investments. Edit: This seems to be similar to the Sequoia story as well where while the numerical loss seems high, it represents a very small part of the overall fund, and doesn't really even move them from their profitable state (can't speak to Softbank, but email leaked from Sequoia shows the fund is very positive even with their loss.)
