USG generally and State specially have a long track record of intentionally releasing disinformation. Any solution to disinformation must start with internal reforms rather than the focus on foreign powers the article suggests.

- yucky 4y agoWhy would anybody trust the government to "disarm disinformation" when they have historically been the largest purveyors of it? Maybe if they lead by example, but until then...nope.
