How is ping latency a measure of time accuracy?
- sgtnoodle 4y agoIt's a bound on inaccuracy from assumptions made about communication delays? I believe a protocol like NTP assumes delays are symmetric, and uses half the round trip time. There's no guarantee that delays are symmetric or repeatable, though.
