This seems to be a slam dunk for prison time.
Only thing I can think of is if these companies are international so he doesnt get prosecuted in the US under US laws. Thats his only hope.
- elefanten 4y agoWell, his ultimate hedge is that both his parents are Stanford law professors. Slam dunk unlikely.
- AustinDev 4y agoHe was also the 6th largest political donor for the 2022 election cycle.
- adrr 4y agoGood investment. Steal from customers and use their money to prevent prosecution.
- _fizz_buzz_ 4y agoBernie Madoff was also a big political donor, didn't help him in the end. SBF will also probably not hand out donations in the near future, so there is very little incentive to help him out at this point.
- AustinDev 4y agoTrue, likely the main impetus was to influence politicians in order to secure favorable regulations.
