there seems to be some sense recently that people don’t like these government entities because they’re unelected, but how can 100 senators reasonably do the work required to implement ‘ complex" issues that require "robust, adaptive" standards that balance consumers' best interests and businesses' needs‘. Doesn’t an org like the FTC exist to hire the people needed to research and apply those standards? FWIW It was my sense that this type of intervention was why Elon wanted people to vote Republican.
