Here’s a hypothetical: what if Facebook had taken all that money and blind effort invested in VR over the last decade and instead fully committed to creating a competitor to Android/iPhone?
I think that strategy would have had a better chance of success.
- plaguepilled 4y agoI came here to post something analogous. Imagine if Google had to actually compete with Meta on the same platform. There would naturally be an incentive to lower telemetry (so that Apple can't just score an easy win again).
