Seems like this has been public for several years.
Nonetheless, it's quite eye opening to read the strategy so openly laid out. And in some ways quite a testimony to Zuckerberg that other than obviously failing to acquire Unity (why?) they have essentially executed on all the other elements of that plan consistently now for 7 years straight.

- throwaw20221107 4y agoYeah, seems almost like the downfall was its openness. It's almost a kind of hubris -- he didn't need to articulate his plan in detail via a traceable comm like email, should've been more secretive. Maybe Zuck should've taken a more "first you must deceive your allies" approach.
- brutusborn 4y agoI don't understand, why is openness an issue? Is it because it makes aquisitions more expensive?
