I have had a "Plaque Remover" since the 80's when they were medical appliances($$$) due to medical needs. In a sample size of 1 my oral health is always worse

I have had a "Plaque Remover" since the 80's when they were medical appliances($$$) due to medical needs. In a sample size of 1 my oral health is always worse when I use a regular tooth on vacation. Today I use a moderately priced ($$) brush with a round head and it works as well as the medical appliance of the past. I get two weeks of 2+ minutes brushing out of a charge and it lasts for several years. As my screen name suggests I have tried to replace batteries on my own. However they are not designed for repair.
