    Do u understand how big wechat is in China? Many merchants don’t accept cash anymore, so yes it makes sense.

      No, it actually doesn't make sense. Because by WeChat he means he wants an "everything app," that doesn't mean a payment gateway monopoly...which would literally be impossible with Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Square, PayPal, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Chase, etc competing with you. You think because Twitter will be a payment system like Google Pay that Elon can shut someone off from the entire financial system? Absolutely impossible. There's also not much evidence that Musk has personally directed the ban of anyone. So, your argument makes no sense on two different fronts.

        Didnt he personally cancel a bloggers tesla order? Also I love it when you say its literally impossible to become a monopoly. Do you think wechat started as a monopoly? Google? My comment itself goes like if it ever becomes a monopoly like wechat in CHINA, you come back to me saying how X isn’t a monopoly, who asked? I am speculating on future. I never once spoke about becoming a payment gateway monopoly but a popular app becoming defacto payment solution. Like Wechat.
