I listened to it, and unless I completely misunderstand the needs of advertisers, I can't imagine this was persuasive. On most of the content moderation and identity fraud the key line seemed to be "trust us", he said the content moderation council won't be around for months. And the solution to impersonation and parody was "aggressive pursuit". The one perhaps new thing that might be interesting to brands was to buy and sell on the site, but he couched that in the fact that it would take a long time to code. Did anyone hear anything different?

But this probably ignores the fact that it is a crunch time in the economy and advertising needs hardly any reason to cause it to contract.
