I’ve noticed however that Musk’s doesn’t seem to try to sell the vision of why it’s good for the people he’s selling to, he mostly sells the grander vision of why it’s good for humanity. That probably works great for a rocket ship company and fine for a car company when what a rich celebrity wants for a car is the same thing we all want for a car, but may not work so well in assuaging relatively conservative advertises and a diverse customer base.
