  > Unfortunately, many docker images are Intel only and that’s pretty hard to work with when setting up anything sophisticated. The problem is solving itself as ARM machines gain traction. But we aren’t there yet. That's like, 20% of the problem. The larger issues come down to how awful APFS is for filesystem/disk virtualization and (moreover) the fact that all docker containers on MacOS still get run in a VM. That's not getting solved by migrating to ARM-native containers.
