- ggm 4y agoVery strongly tied to form factor. If you have SATA, you are locked in to the SATA packaged "this SSD fits in your HDD slot" model. If you are M2 keyed, things are good. Oversupply is conditional to form factor. Price and cost are very disjoint in this space. (a person with a 4 port SATA "hat" for a Raspberry Pi using unshucked HDD, wanting 2TB SSD in that form factor to come down in price)
