You can't launch a new service without exclusives. Exclusives are much less effective in music than they are in TV/movies. 1) There's so much more producer variety in music than in video, even at the top of the charts. 2) Music listening habits are very conducive to variety. In the time I watch a single Marvel movie, I could have listened to songs from 10+ different record labels.
