Slingboxes, streaming video way before it was cool, go dark tomorrow
- phillipseamore 4y agoMany years ago I was working IT for a hotel chain. One day I'm called up to the presidential suite. I knock on the door and announce myself. A man opens the door, I immediately recognize him. It's Tom Cruise. He asks me to hook up his Slingbox so that he can watch his cable from home. It only took a couple of minutes and our interaction ended with a simple thanks and goodbye.
