A close family member has been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease a while back. I've been trying to educate myself on neurodegenerative diseases since, with the hope of launching something one day to tackle treatments and potential cures. I don't have a formal biology background, so there is a lot of things to learn. But I can't sit down on the sidelines without attempting to do something about it. That's what's driving this passion.
