In the Land of the Free:
- cops, judges, and politicians are above the law
- no communication or value transfer goes unsurveilled
- getting through security takes longer than many flights
- there is no retirement, because financial assets are tightly controlled, and debased continuously
- PaulHoule 4y agoWe had retirement in the US back when there were defined benefit pensions. Once you got defined benefit plans people like Peter Thiel could make $100 million + tax free when most people got nothing.

- danuker 4y agoCryptocurrency is being burdened with regulation, same as traditional assets. The way I see it, P2P trade might become illegal, and everyone forced through the same centralized institutions.
