From an anecdotal perspective it's just applying more and more pressure on people I know. Food bank usage is sky rocketing and I'm seeing a lot more requests from them as a result as they're struggling to keep up with the demand. The UK has heavy class divides and things are getting really difficult for those in the working class. For those in the middle class they're not struggling with food or fuel, but the ability to build wealth and invest is starting to erode.
