Accelerating the Energy Transition with Web3
- PaulHoule 4y agoOuch. Just when you thought the blockheads were dead, clueless articles evoking confusion about blockchains connected with legacy companies are popping up like mushrooms. When are we going to hear that somebody stole $783 million from Shell Oil? We've been thinking about canceling our subscription to Bloomberg Businessweek because they hired their best writer to write a whole issue of the magazine printed in ʟᴀʀɢᴇ ᴛʏᴘᴇ, horrible typography and unreadable spreads featuring red text on green backgrounds and such. When there is a serious stock market crash it takes a generation before people forgot what happened. It's no excuse to say that blockchains work on "internet time", rather expecting people to forget what happened a year ago is betting on people being a lot more stupid than they actually are. We want blockchains to come back about as much as we want to get re-infected with COVID-19.
