- ZeroGravitas 4y agoSo the general thesis is that stopping local production of fossil fuels helps Russia. Which is true, if you don't reduce your use of fossil fuels, just outsource them. But is false if you reduce your use of fossil fuels, which actively hurts Russia, an economy dependant on fossil fuels.
- protovacuum 4y agoYes, these two processes must be synchronized: reducing use of fossil fuels but at the same time, increasing use of "clear" energy (including nuclear) to not to outsource it to Russia.

- protovacuum 4y agoOh yes, it's a pure coincidence that the biggest surge of activity against oil and gas production in Europe happened in the most critical year in history for Russia, which dreams about how to stop such production and make Europe more dependent on Russian oil & gas!
