Why Japan Is Gearing Up for Possible War with China over Taiwan
- simonblack 4y agoEven in the 1940s, while the Chinese were bogged down in the middle of their own Civil War, the Chinese fought the Japanese to a standstill for over eight years. Imagine how the Japanese would fare against the much larger and China of today. It would be like a five-year-old against King Kong.
- Arnt 4y agoIt's clear that neither Japan nor any of its neighbours could hope to invade China and win today. But that doesn't make China capable of invading anyone and winning. China's less powerful than the US and Taiwan's not as feeble as Haiti, which the US has invaded four times so far, without succeeding in its aims.
