There always were election deniers, just never a sitting president willing to push his supporters to attack congress because he didn’t want to concede and then cowardly abandon them once they failed overturning the certification. You could also count Stacy Abrams although considering her opponent was in charge of the electoral process her reluctance to concede could be a bit more understandable.
