Hmmm...according to your reasoning everybody should have backed away from the US a long time ago. When was the last time China attacked/invaded a country? And when was the last time the US did?
- chiefalchemist 4y agoYes and no. Yes, you have a point. Maybe we can explore that some other time? But in the immediate, we're living the darkside of globalization. It's not even a proper world war and the basics (i.e., food and heat) are being disrupted for millions, if not billions. China is not an ally of The West. Full stop. It's easy to be a wealthy and comfortable C Level executive at a multi-national corporation and say, "Don't worry about it." The problem is, that belief is naive. It's also something the still rising China is happy to see.
