Meta will reportedly announce βlarge-scaleβ layoffs next week
- incomingpain 4y agoTwitter's layoffs were expected. You have to get rid of the political activists, you know there was going to be some. But something did surprise me. They fired the entire teams of the "curation", "UN human rights", "diversity", some other teams. One of the key things: https://www.ohchr.org/en/press-releases/2022/11/un-human-rights-chief-turk-issues-open-letter-twitters-elon-musk https://www.ohchr.org/en/press-releases/2022/11/un-human-rig... Apparently twitter just allowed the united nations to censorship subjects? This is the same team which posted: https://twitter.com/UN_Women/status/1587777181081559041 https://twitter.com/UN_Women/status/1587777181081559041 Of all journalists killed in 2021, 11% were women. In 2020, this was 6%. (Source: @UNESCO ) ππππ πππππππππ πππππ πππππππππππ 89% of journalists killed are men and it's women journalists they are worried about? This isn't a joke... Guess who facebook will be laying off shortly? It's going to be their political activists as well.
