As you know, these are very long. It seems like the Framework modules are much smaller than that and wouldn't be able to fit an SFP frame.

As you know, these are very long. It seems like the Framework modules are much smaller than that and wouldn't be able to fit an SFP frame.
- aesh2Xa1 4y agoThe module’s connector needs to be the same connector shape and with the same electrical connectivity, but the form factor of the module body could just be longer, too. In fact, the SFP itself is long, but does the housing for it need to be?
- wmf 4y agoAn SFP isn't going to latch unless the socket is full depth.
- banana_giraffe 4y agoThe electronical connections are all the the edge, but without the latch at the back of the connection, it won't be a secure fit.
