I’ve had this happen in places were multiple languages are spoken. Hearing something in Language B, but not realizing, so the brain processes it in Language A.

I’ve had this happen in places were multiple languages are spoken. Hearing something in Language B, but not realizing, so the brain processes it in Language A. Then not being able to understand for a few seconds until the brain realizes that what I heard is actually Language B, and suddenly the first seconds of the speech make sense.
