Where in Europe? Its an entire continent with a huge salary range and many different cultures. Here in Finland, the iPhone is quite popular, and pretty much seen as the default option for non-tech people who don't want to root their phone. The 400 euro model is affordable for most people. But I wouldn't think that would be the case at all in a poorer country like Poland or Romania.
