- scarface74 4y agoYes I know this is a joke. But I think the satire was about bringing Dorsey back. Just to make it perfectly clear though, Microsoft’s “injection of cash” - at the tune of $150 million had nothing to do with keeping Apple solvent. The CFO at the time had just secured a line of credit of a couple of billion before Jobs returned.
- neallindsay 4y agoAt the time I think reassuring the public that Microsoft Office would continue to be available on Macs was more important than the money.
- yardie 4y agoAhh yes. The time when Apple stocks were trading less than $1. And the company was on the express train to insolvency.
