> The reality is that most children (and adults) do not care about software and never will. You learn this very rapidly in IT. Eventually, you learn that the reasoning you give people is "because you called me to fix it". They dont care, they just want to make sure you arent jipping them. But if they cant understand, they cant be sure! It makes a lot of hover-bodies that make a lot of annoyance.
